The NSW government business chamber (smallbiz.nsw.gov.au) sent out their newsletter today and highlighted DNA Digital, my local Byron Bay business, as a success story! You can read it here in the innovation section.

If you run a small business like mine, I’d recommend you join the local chamber of commerce and if you work and operate in the Northern Rivers I also suggest you give NORBEC a call. What people might not realise  is that NORBEC is a free service with government funding, so much of the advice and mentoring they offer is completely free. On that basis alone you have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

Although the excellent write up at the NSW smallbiz website is a welcome spotlight on the job we do at DNA Digital helping local businesses with their online strategy, I must humbly admit that we do not deserve to be listed as “innovators”. When DNA Digital started 10 years ago there were still many other business doing the same thing and I don’t consider our services entrepreneurial  in any way.  We do try to do them as best as we can, and try to keep on top of the industry trends and changes in technology and society.

In this spirit, we will continue to do our best in Byron Bay and beyond and hope to talk to all of you again soon!

Kind regards,

Dylan O’Donnell
